A recall of nearly 10 million pounds of meat issued last week by BrucePac has affected brands like Dole and stores like Trader Joe's across the U.S.

BrucePac, a large producer of prepackaged meat and poultry, has expanded an existing recall to include the addition of almost 1.8 million pounds of ready-to-eat products distributed to schools, restaurants and other institutions.

As of Oct. 15, the nearly 340-page list now also includes private labels from stores like Amazon, Target, Meijer, Giant Eagle, Kroger, 7-Eleven, and Wegmans, and brand names like Taylor Farms, Rao's, and Dole—among others.
