Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president PT Usha said that the executive committee members are out to taint her name, adding that the allegations against her brought forward by treasurer Sahdev Yadav were motivated.

She also said the Sponsorship Committee of IOA and joint secretary Kalyan Chaubey were involved in the discussions.

CHENNAI: Indian Olympic Association chief PT Usha claimed that there was no loss to the organization because of renegotiating a deal that the IOA had entered with Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) for a National Olympic Committee (NOC) house at the Games.

PT Usha said it was a ploy to tarnish her reputation and threatened legal action against anyone who will indulge in giving "misleading information".

On Tuesday, October 8, Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president P.T. Usha refuted treasurer Sahdev Yadav's claims in a CAG report that a faulty sponsorship agreement with Reliance India Limited (RIL) led to a loss of Rs 24 crore to the IOA.
