A nationwide recall of meat and poultry products potentially contaminated with listeria has expanded to nearly 12 million pounds and now includes ready-to-eat meals sent to U.S. schools, restaurants and major retailers, federal officials said.

As of Oct. 15, the nearly 340-page list now also includes private labels from stores like Amazon, Target, Meijer, Giant Eagle, Kroger, 7-Eleven, and Wegmans, and brand names like Taylor Farms, Rao's, and Dole—among others.

Another nationwide meat recall is underway over Listeria contamination—and its far more formidable than the last.
