The M25 is partly closed between Surrey and Kent following a lorry burst into flames. The blaze broke out between junction 5 and junction 6 at around 10pm on Sunday, between Sevenoaks and Godstone.

National Highways South East says the incident also led to the closure of the M26 westbound between junction 2A and the junction with the M25 and A21.

A section of the M25 is closed this morning (Monday, October 21) following a lorry fire. The closure is in place between Junction 5 near Sevenoaks and Junction 6 near Godstone, following a single vehicle collision which occurred just after 10pm last night.

Closures on the M25 and M26 due to a lorry fire are likely to last until midday, road users have been warned. The M25 is closed clockwise between J5 near Sevenoaks and J6 near Godstone/Caterham, according to Highways England.

The M25 is facing severe delays this morning after a Tesco lorry burst into flames in the middle of the motorway. The incident took place between Clacket Lane and Junction 6 at around 10pm on Sunday.
