On Saturday's AEW Collision, HOOK called for the person or people who attacked his father Taz to meet him at AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday on October 8th.

As you may know, Taz was absent from this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite due to an assault in the parking lot. The storyline indicated that he sustained a knee injury, and his son, HOOK, promised to seek retribution on the perpetrator. This angle is believed to mark the beginning of a storyline involving Christian Cage and HOOK.

AEW announced that Taz was the target of a parking lot attack. It spawned a bunch of “The NXT Parking Lot is All Elite” jokes, and continued on the show to set-up a mystery assailant for HOOK to hunt down in future episodes.
