The theme of the next Met Gala and its celebrity chairs have been announced: Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky and LeBron

The Met Gala is set to get a Philly touch next year. On Wednesday, Vogue announced the celebrity co-chairs for the 2025 Met Gala and the list includes West Philly-raised actor and menswear darling Colman Domingo.

The Emmy-winning, Oscar- and Tony-nominated actor will be co-chairing next year's Met Gala, which is based on the Costume Institute's upcoming exhibit Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Domingo will co-chair the event with driver Lewis Hamilton, rapper A$AP Rocky, musician Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, alongside honorary chair LeBron James.
