A broad area of high pressure from the eastern Great Lakes to the Mid-Atlantic will keep our weather sunny and dry, with a gradual warming trend, and ideal for facilitating the fall colors that will peak across central Ohio in the coming week.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, streets on the marathon route will be subject to rolling closures based on the expected arrival times of the first and last athletes. Spring Street, Long Street and Neil Avenue will open back up to traffic at 6 p.m.

The route winds throughout Downtown and into the outlying cities. Here are prime spots to watch the race this Sunday.

Sunday morning, thousands of runners and volunteers for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon will hit the roads in various neighborhoods of Columbus. Below are the dozens of road closures that go along with the annual fall event.
