Tyler took to social media on Wednesday (Oct. 16) to kick off his next chapter with the eerie “St. Chroma” video. The clip finds a person rocking a mask with a group of mesmerized soldiers marching to some whispered rapping through a barren desert.

In the 90-second “St. Chroma” clip, an apparently masked Tyler is shown leading a line of similarly dressed men marching into an oversized shipping container with the word “Chromakopia” spray-painted on it. In the teaser’s final seconds, the clip shifts from sepia-tinted to full-color, and the shipping container is detonated and exploded.

It’s been three years since Tyler The Creator ‘s most recent album, Call Me If You Get Lost. But, he appears to be teasing a new project.

Tyler's new album is out next Monday, marking a well-timed middle finger to the industry standard of Friday release dates.
