Shaking was reported in parts of Los Angeles, Whittier, Culver City, Redondo Beach, Torrance and Santa Monica, the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys and other areas.

The quake was mostly felt in the San Bernardino County cities and areas of Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Eastvale and Chino. Additionally, the shaking was felt in some portions of San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles counties.
