Russia unleashed an overnight drone attack across Ukraine targeting the capital Kyiv and hitting infrastructure in the Black Sea port of Odesa, Ukrainian officials said on Sunday. The State Emergency Service said one person was wounded and warehouses and cargo trucks were damaged in Odesa during the multi-wave attack,

"The enemy once again used its drones against Kyiv overnight!" Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv's military administration, said on the Telegram messaging app. "Russian drones entered the capital of Ukraine in several waves and from different directions.

The Ukrainian air force said it had shot down 78 out of 105 Russian drones during the assault, but the aerial attacks still damaged power lines and substations’ equipment in the Kyiv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk regions in the past day.
