Polish developer Bloober Team dropped a bombshell at Xbox's Partner Preview event last week with the reveal of Cronos: The New Dawn - and it sounds like the upcoming Xbox title is a bit of a new dawn itself for the Silent Hill 2 studio.

Bloober Team unveiled what it’s been working on at today’s Xbox Partner Showcase event. The studio showed off a cinematic trailer for Cronos: The New Dawn, which is a brand-new IP. The developer describes the game as “a twisted time travel story set in an unforgiving post-apocalyptic future.

After the successful launch of Silent Hill 2, Bloober Team is moving onto its own material, and it looks like the first stop is Cronos: The New Dawn, which is set to release sometime in 2025.
