The Golden State Warriors brought fireworks to their preseason opener, beating the Los Angeles Clippers on a game-winning 3-pointer from Lindy Waters III.

Moses Moody and offseason acquisition Lindy Waters III led the Warriors off the bench against the Clippers in a back-and-forth game. Moody provided a spark for the Warriors, scoring 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting with a pair of made 3-pointers, four rebounds and two steals in 13 minutes. Moody finished with a game-high +14.

Then, after two failed inbounds plays, Lindy Waters III canned the walk-off 3 as time expired, lifting the Warriors to a 91-90 win in the Stan Sheriff Center at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Waters hit five 3s, scored a game-high 15 points and was first greeted by a chest-bump from Steph Curry after his game-winner.
